Fokker F50

The Fokker 50 is a turboprop-powered airliner manufactured by Fokker, with production commencing in 1985. The design of the Fokker 50 is directly based on its predecessor, the Fokker F27 Friendship, as sales for the latter significantly dropped. The new Fokker 50 shares several aspects with the F27, including the airframe and limited design elements, while also incorporating new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127B powerplants, a new wing and propeller design, and other minor modifications.

Red Box is pleased to offer an extensive range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the requirements of the Fokker 50 aircraft.

This includes the 757 tug, the RBSC300 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or continuous powering of equipment during operations without draining the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, we offer the RB50A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also provide a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Fokker 50 aircraft in our TC3000 range.
