The Gulfstream G280 is a twin-engine business jet, developed and built by Israel Aerospace Industries, for Gulfstream Aerospace in the late 2000s. The G280 was based on the predecessing G200 model, and was created as a follow-on aircraft with a number of improvements. The new design comprised of extended fuselage and wings, a new glass cockpit, and uprated Honeywell HTF7250G engines. The cabin was developed with a much more comfortable layout with access to baggage compartments, and was of a luxurious interior. The first production models were delivered to customers in 2012, with productions ongoing to this day.
