The Grumman Gulfstream I (also company designation G-159) is a twin-turboprop business aircraft, introduced in the late 1950s. The aircraft was intended as an executive transport version of the predecessing TF-1 Trader aircraft, with turboprop propulsion, however subsequently Grumman opted for a clean-sheet design instead. The new design accommodated for a standing cabin, which was available in several configuration from high-density to executive layouts. The overall construction comprises of low-wing cantilever monoplane configuration, the fuselage being semi-monocoque aluminium alloy. The Gulfstream I utilised Rolls-Royce Dart engines.
