Learjet 45

The Learjet 45, a mid-size business jet aircraft, is manufactured by the Learjet Division of Bombardier Aerospace. The development of this model stemmed from Learjet’s intention to create a competitor for the widely popular Cessna Citation Excel in the super-light business jet category. Unlike its predecessors, the Learjet 45 represents the first entirely new design in the line since the inception of the Learjet series, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the family’s renowned high-speed performance.

Despite being designed as a robust competitor to newer models and adhering to more stringent regulations under FAR Part 25, the process of finalizing the Learjet 45’s design took considerably longer than anticipated. The first prototype of the Learjet 45 took to the skies in 1995. However, due to challenges in obtaining FAA certification the following year, the initial deliveries to customers faced delays until 1998.

Red Box is delighted to offer an extensive range of ground power equipment for the Learjet 45 aircraft. This selection includes tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, all precisely suited to meet the specific requirements of Learjet 45 aircraft.

Our offerings encompass the 747C tug, and the RBSC150 continuous power unit. The RBSC150 is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks, or providing continuous power to equipment during operations without depleting the onboard aircraft batteries. Additionally, we provide a combination of start and continuous power in a single unit for the Learjet 45 in our TC3000 range.
