Sikorsky S-76C

The Sikorsky S-76 Spirit is a medium-sized commercial utility helicopter, crafted by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation since 1977. The Spirit’s design was conceived to serve as a medium-sized corporate transport and support helicopter for oil rigs, marking Sikorsky’s inaugural venture into developments exclusively for commercial use. The design incorporates twin Rolls Royce (Allison) 250-C30S turboshaft engines propelling four-bladed main and tail rotors, along with a retractable landing gear. The subsequent S-76B variant employed more potent Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B-36A or 36B engines.
