Sikorsky S76 D

The Sikorsky S-76 Spirit is a medium-size, commercial utility helicopter, manufactured by the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation since 1977. The Spirit’s design was created to provide a medium-size corporate transport and oil rig support helicopter, the very first of Sikorsky’s developments that was intended for solely commercial use. The design consists of twin Rolls Royce (Allison) 250-C30S turboshaft engines powering four-bladed main and tail rotors, with a retractable landing gear. The most recent variant is the S-76D, utilising twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210S engines, and was manufactured to achieve reduced noise, and with improved avionics.

Red Box is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Sikorsky S-76D aircraft.

This includes the popular RBI9400T mechanic hand trolley case complete with 161 BAHCO tools, the 717 tug, the RBSC100 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries and the Twin RB75A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts.
