Boeing 737-100

The Boeing 737, a narrow-body aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes since 1966, was conceived to fulfil the need for a short-haul aircraft complementing the larger 727 airliner, particularly for short and thin routes. Building upon a pre-existing concept within the company, the new design’s most significant innovation was the relocation of the engines to the wings, departing from their previous placement at the rear fuselage. This adjustment offered several advantages, including a lighter wing structure, increased cabin space for passenger seating, and improved aerodynamics. Following certification, the initial Boeing 737-100 model entered service with Lufthansa and later underwent amendments, including the addition of thrust reversers to optimize landing performance.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, encompassing tugs, ground power units, start power units, and more, all meticulously tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Boeing 737-100 aircraft.

This includes the RBFTC250-800 tug and the RBC8090 GPU Frequency Converter.
