Boeing 737-300

The Boeing 737, a narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes since 1966, was developed to address the need for a short-haul aircraft complementing the larger 727 airliner, especially for short and thin routes. Boeing drew inspiration from a pre-existing concept, serving as the foundation for the new aircraft design. A significant development from the initial design involved relocating the engines to the wings, departing from their previous placement at the rear fuselage. This adjustment brought several advantages, including a lighter wing structure, increased cabin space for passenger seating, and enhanced aerodynamics.

Seeking to offer a modernized and improved version of the original 737, Boeing initiated the development of the 737-300 variant in 1979. While maintaining the general airframe structure, the new model underwent several changes, incorporating a new engine and nacelles to reduce noise and enhance fuel efficiency. The aerodynamics and avionics of the aircraft were also reviewed and amended for superior performance.

Red Box is delighted to present an extensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, and more, all meticulously tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
