Bombardier (Regional) Challenger 890

Derived from the Challenger 800 and 850 aircraft, the Challenger 890 emerges as an airliner crafted by Bombardier in the late 2000s. Serving as an evolution of the original Challenger 800, renowned as the largest super-midsize business jet in the company’s repertoire, the vision was to create a lavish corporate business jet. Bombardier’s conceptualization included features like a glass cockpit, retractable landing gear, and the implementation of twin General Electric CF34-3B1 engines mounted on the rear fuselage. Stemming from the enhanced Challenger 870 CS introduced in 2005, Bombardier further extended their innovation to birth the Challenger 890 CS executive shutter model. This variant boasts an elongated fuselage and refined performance, particularly in lift and thrust.
