Embraer E195 (ERJ-195)

The Embraer E-Jet family stands as a series of narrow-body twinjet commercial airliners, meticulously crafted by Embraer. Opting for a clean-sheet design, Embraer embarked on the development of the EMB 170 as the inaugural model, rather than further evolving their ERJ 145 aircraft, thereby creating the innovative 70-seat EMB 170 jetliner, later rebranded as the E170. Featuring a twin-engine arrangement powered by General Electric CF34-8E powerplants, the design incorporated a distinctive “double bubble” format to facilitate a stand-up cabin. The fuselage was subsequently elongated to introduce the new E195 model, boasting seating for up to 146 passengers and propelled by the cutting-edge Pratt & Whitney PW1921G engines. Alongside its counterpart, the E190, the E195 emerged as a formidable competitor against aircraft such as the Bombardier CRJ-1000, Boeing 717, or the Airbus A318.
