Embraer KC-390

The Embraer C-390 stands as a twinjet military transport aircraft with the capability of aerial refuelling, cargo transport, and troop movement. This is facilitated by the two wing-mounted probe and drogue pods, delivering an impressive 1,500L per minute from a fuel capacity exceeding 75,000lbs. It holds the distinction of being Embraer’s heaviest aircraft to date, accommodating up to 80 soldiers or 66 paratroopers with full gear, along with 26 tonnes (29 tons) of cargo, inclusive of armored vehicles.

Designed with a high wing, forward-mounted twin turbofans featuring anhedral angle, slats, and up to 40° high-lift flaps, the C-390 boasts a landing gear equipped with low-pressure tires for soft, unpaved ground or damaged runways. Utilizing fly-by-wire flight controls with active sidesticks, it allows for a load factor of up to 3G.
