As we have now moved past 2020 (finally), we thought we would take the time to reflect on what we’ve been doing here at Red Box to remain safe at work; in order to continue serving our valued customers during this challenging period.
Since the first lockdown, we now have several procedures in place to ensure all our working environments are COVID-free, such as regular temperature checks for staff and visitors, wearing face masks and working back-to-back where possible. The team frequently deep clean their respective stations as well, the place has never been so tidy!
During this time, we’ve been working on a number of new projects which we’re excited to share. The Aviation Team have designed and begun manufacturing our new 25 and 50amp 14/28V DC ground power units, created to deliver continuous power for tasks such as aircraft crew training, servicing, diagnostic work and pre-flight checks without draining the aircraft’s onboard batteries.
We’re constantly looking to improve our supply chain, so we have managed to source more attainable yet superior boards for these units. The overall design of these use continuous power units has changed to create a more aesthetically pleasing product range alongside a better-quality power supply and will also make the units easier to maintain going forward.
