The Fokker 100, a medium-sized, twin-turbofan regional jet airliner, was developed and manufactured by the Dutch company Fokker. Derived from the preceding Fokker F28 (Mk 4000) model, the Fokker 100 featured a lengthened fuselage, allowing for the accommodation of 109 passengers. This new aircraft incorporated upgraded Rolls-Royce RB.138 Tay engines, a wider wing, extended leading and trailing edges, and various minor changes that significantly enhanced aerodynamics. Production of the Fokker 100 commenced in 1986, and its initially robust sales were attributed to its low operational costs. However, a decade later, production ceased in 1996 when Fokker declared bankruptcy.
Red Box is delighted to offer a comprehensive range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, comprising tugs, ground power units, start power units and more, perfectly suited to the requirements of the Fokker 100 aircraft.
